This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent system fluid from contacting the shaft. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the connected system piping.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and features AEGIS shaft grounding to meet NEMA premium efficiency standards. The motor utilizes a JM frame style with integrated feet for mounting. The unit operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
