This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and uses an across the line starting method. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 286 and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
