This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge facilitates piping layouts and self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. The motor is configured as a 284 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and the pump has a PEI of 0.93. The motor operates within NEMA standards at a 40°C ambient temperature.
