This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 286 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes a counter-clockwise rotation.
