This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes a bronze wear ring, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a NEMA 215 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes an across-the-line starting method. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump has a PEI of 0.96 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
