This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve constructed with a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F in clean water applications. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet.
This pump is powered by a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 256T frame. The unit operates on 230-460V/60/3 power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is configured with AEGIS shaft grounding and a Woods coupler. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
