This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration that isolates the stainless steel shaft from the circulating fluid, further protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly incorporates a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. The casing includes suction and discharge pressure tappings, and the internal components are engineered for a maximum pressure rating of 125 PSI without a wear ring.
Powered by a 20 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, the assembly connects to a 380-460V / 3PH power supply and provides a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
