This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It incorporates a dry shaft design, featuring a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for operating temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting. This unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI value of 0.88. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
