This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly includes an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit incorporates a bearing frame with greasable bearings and is configured without a wear ring. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 326 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. This model meets NEMA standards and has a premium efficiency rating conforming to MG1-12.55. Additionally, the motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
