This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump also includes a slip-on shaft sleeve, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply using across-the-line starting. The motor is mounted in a 254 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.94. The motor enclosure is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
