This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge connection. The unit utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided at the suction and discharge connections, and the pump uses ANSI Class 125 flanges.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and resides in a NEMA 254 T-frame. The assembly features a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The calculated DOE PEI value for this pump is 0.92.
