This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. It is equipped with a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across the line starting. The unit uses an 184 T NEMA frame and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
