This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal uses a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, enabling operation in clean water temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing housing features permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump is driven by a 50 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 326T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and utilizes across the line starting as the standard configuration.
