This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation in fluids up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps are included for the installation of a filter, and pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections.
The unit is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and utilizes an ODP enclosure. Power supply requirements are 230-460/60/3PH. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.9. The unit uses an across the line starting option and a rear pullout design, which allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
