This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump construction incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 254 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. This unit maintains a CCW rotation and a 40°C ambient temperature rating.
