This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design and includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, manages fluid retention. The unit includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a TEFC enclosure with a JM frame style and feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and the pump has a PEI of 0.89. The design features a top center line discharge and operates at temperatures up to 250 °F.
