This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 10" nominal impeller housed within a cast iron casing, paired with a bronze impeller and bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge assists with venting and piping alignment.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor in a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted in a 184 JM frame with feet. This configuration meets MG1-12.55 standards and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.94. The motor is rated for operation in 40°C ambient temperatures.
