This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller paired with a bronze wear ring. The casing is constructed of cast iron. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F in clean water applications.
This model operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3. It is configured for across-the-line starting with a 40 °C ambient rating and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor by a Woods coupler, protected by a standard coupler guard.
