This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes integrated gauge ports for both suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP TEFC WEG motor, NEMA frame 254 T-frame, configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.89. The unit uses an across the line starting option and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integrated drip pan and is rated for a 50 °C ambient temperature environment.
