This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are included, and the rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a JM motor frame with feet. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump has a PEI value of 0.94. The top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and reduces piping strain.
