This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 9 1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The assembly includes greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This unit uses a NEMA 254T frame and requires a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The system is configured for across-the-line starting and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is covered by an OSHA-compliant Woods coupler guard. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, and has a PEI value of 0.91.
