This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal is installed, consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. This unit supports operating temperatures up to 250°F and is suitable for clean water applications. It incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with an ODP enclosure, a 256 JM frame with feet, and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. Electrical requirements are 200V/60Hz/3PH, with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.91. The assembly features a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge orientation.
