This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 184 T-Frame, operating at 1750 RPM on 230-460/60/3PH power. It uses across the line starting and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. Additional components include AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit has a measured performance energy index (PEI) of 0.94.
