This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a rear pullout configuration for service access and a dry shaft that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit includes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. It features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for a 575/60/3 power supply and features a JM style frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and provides a DOE PEI of 0.89. The top center line discharge design facilitates self-venting and simplifies piping layouts.
