This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump includes a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection. The unit features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 250 flanges and a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze. The design incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump utilizes a dry shaft configuration and provides flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout assembly allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge supports self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and drip cover. The motor is configured with a 213 JM frame with feet and AEGIS shaft grounding. Electrical input is 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH. The system is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. This motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.84 and utilizes across the line starting.
