This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid and includes a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter, and the unit incorporates a top center line discharge design and a rear pullout configuration for service access.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 256 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates on 230-460/60/3 power and uses an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI rating of 0.97. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
