This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is housed in a NEMA 286 T-frame and is configured for 230-460/60/3 power. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The motor is a Baldor unit that meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This model maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94.
