This end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid movement. The assembly integrates a dry shaft design, which prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, supported by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a stainless steel shaft. It operates with a mechanical seal comprising ceramic seat half material and EPT rubber, providing a 125 PSI pressure capacity. Suction and discharge connections are tapped for gauge ports, and the casing includes integrally cast mounting feet.
Powered by a 40 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor, the assembly operates at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding at a 380-460V / 3PH power supply. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
