This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed in a cast iron casing. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump features a rear pullout design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 256 JM motor frame style with feet and operates with counter-clockwise rotation. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with an Across the Line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
