This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. Additional design features include a rear pullout configuration for service, flush seal line taps for particle filtering, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 182 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply using across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards, operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, and complies with premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. The configuration includes counter-clockwise rotation and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F.
