This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to minimize contact with the circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 256T frame. The electrical configuration is 380/60/3, featuring a premium efficiency rating and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The system utilizes greasable bearings and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The pump meets NEMA standards and maintains a PEI of 0.89.
