This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. The pump design includes a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 145T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes an across the line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a guard. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and features a DOE PEI of 0.85.
