This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly includes ANSI Class 125 flanges with a bronze wear ring and a 9 1/2" nominal impeller diameter. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies layout. The pump uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps allow for filter installation, and the dry shaft design prevents fluid contact with the shaft.
The pump is configured with a 25 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 284 JM frame with feet. It features an ODP enclosure and operates on 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements, and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The unit operates at 40°C ambient with a PEI of 0.92 and CCW rotation. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
