This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pull-out design allows for servicing without disturbing the connected system piping. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor features a JM frame style with feet, meets NEMA standard requirements, and complies with Super E Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is designed for a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and has a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.91.
