This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and features flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 184 T-frame. It is configured for 200/60/3 power supply and uses across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration maintains a PEI of 0.91 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment.
