This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from system fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber accommodates fluid temperatures up to 225°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
This pump is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It features a JM motor frame style with feet and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI value of 0.94.
