This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft. The unit incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to limit fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, with a temperature rating of 225°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and supports flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor utilizes NEMA 286 T-frame construction and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and a standard coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. The equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
