This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features a rear pullout design, a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the system fluid and the shaft, and includes flush seal line taps for filter installation. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor utilizes a 254 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration. The unit has a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.91 and features a top center line discharge design.
