This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, providing a temperature rating of 225°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 324TS NEMA frame. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA, all mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55. The assembly maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
