This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring purposes.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor utilizes a NEMA 145T frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is across the line, and the unit is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.81.
