This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. The pump assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
This pump is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor utilizes a 256 T frame and operates at 1750 RPM. The system features greasable bearings, a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. Additional specifications include AEGIS shaft grounding, across-the-line starting, and a PEI rating of 0.89. The assembly meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55.
