This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze. The pump is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is built on a NEMA 213 T-frame and functions on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler. This configuration supports across-the-line starting, operates in a 40°C ambient environment, and has a PEI value of 0.87.
