This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 326T frame. The motor is configured for a 575/60/3 power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.93.
