This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The unit includes a rear pullout design for servicing, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operational temperature limit of 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 40 HP Baldor motor in a 324 JM frame with feet. It features a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor supports across the line starting and is rated for 40°C ambient, NEMA standard performance, and CCW rotation. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump assembly has a PEI value of 0.92.
