This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates a dry shaft and flush seal line taps, with the pump rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted in a 213 JM frame style with feet and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA standard requirements, offers premium efficiency compliant with MG1-12.55, and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.89. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes a counter-clockwise rotation.
