This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on both suction and discharge connections, and the casing supports the installation of a flush seal line.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG TEFC motor mounted in a NEMA 182 T-frame. The motor is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding to manage electrical currents. The pump is secured to a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard with a Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
