This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections and includes a drain port.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 405 TS NEMA frame. The electrical configuration requires 460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
