This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge port, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit contains a 10" nominal bronze impeller, a bronze wear ring, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operating temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings for both suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor NEMA 213T frame motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly utilizes greasable bearings and is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. This configuration supports across the line starting and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, with a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
