This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance and prevent contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The pump includes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections are integrated into the casing.
The pump is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It uses a 145JM motor frame with feet and is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is designed for a 40°C ambient temperature environment with counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a PEI of 0.86.
