This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing that does not include a wear ring. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber seals the unit and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame configuration. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor provides premium efficiency performance that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is rated for 40 °C ambient temperatures and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
